"Best Recommendation to Mahesh"

Every morning, Mahesh is opening his small shop in front of the guesthouse where you can book different tours.

We did the Whale watching trip two times and both times it was an incredible event. Even when the sea was crowdy, the captain was very careful we felt save all the time. The crew did a very good job and we saw hundreds of dolphins, some whales, of which I forgot the name, and at the end two big blue whales coming up next to our boat. It was amazing to see them so close by.

Mahesh also organized a tour to the Udawalawe National Park for us which is well known for its big amount of elephants. There we had the same experience again, perfect organisation and fair prices at all.

At the end we had to go directly to the airport and again Mahesh organized the transport which had brought us save and fast to the airport.

For us it was the best ever to meet Mahesh at the end of our trip.

"The best Tours in Sri Lanka!!!"

We visited Sri Lanka in October last year and met mahesh through mirissa tours!! Mahesh looked after us so much during our stay in Sri Lanka! We booked whale watching through mirissa tours which was fantastic and so organised! We also did a drive up to Adams peak which was all organised by mahesh! It was amazing driving up through all the mountains and tea plantations!!! And the driver he organised was fantastic and very safe!!!

Definitely book a tour through mirissa tours, mahesh is such a great person and will genuinely look after you with an honest price and service!

We will be back to mirissa tours to see mahesh again!!!!!

"Excellent !"

Myself and 2 friends booked two different excursion with Mahesh at Mirissa Tours.

Firstly we went whale watching and although it was an early start to the day (6:00am) it was well worth it. Transport to the boat was provided ( Tuk Tuk ) as well as breakfast once on board. We had such a good morning, and the staff on board where so enthusiastic and keen to educate you about the wildlife. We where lucky to see 2 blue whales several times and a whale shark up close !

The second excursions was to 'water for elephants'. This included a Tuk Tuk ride to the area ( about an hour, with lots of interesting sites on the way Including stilt fishing ) and the chance to ride, wash and feed the elephants. It was truly amazing.

5 * service

"Crocodile and Blue Whale Safari Adventures!"

We met friendly Mahesh on the street who convinced me to take the crocodile tour with Mirissa Tours. He told me if I did not see crocodiles I would receive my money back.

We quickly learned why this guarantee was given. The river from Matara into the jungle was streaming with crocodiles. Our boat driver was so friendly and had such a good eye at seeing them in the water. We immediately saw a baby croc within two minutes of the safari. We saw several more over the three hour journey including two giant six meter crocs!
We decided the Croc safari was so amazing we would go on the whale watching safari with Marissa tours also. Again we were not disappointed. We went on the small boat tour which was perfect. We saw three blue whales and one incredibly close (About 3 meters).

The tours we went on were small and personal. This suited us much more than being on a boat with 50 other people.

Thanks Mahesh.
